LifeWorks supports autistic young adults who are ready for more independence but need the right environment, encouragement, and structure to thrive. Here, participants learn by living — practicing daily skills, building friendships, navigating work, and gaining confidence in a safe and welcoming community.

What Participants Learn Here

Independent Living

Participants can choose to live in modern, fully furnished apartments where they practice daily life skills — cooking, budgeting, cleaning, planning, time management, and navigating personal safety — with on-site support when needed.

Career Readiness

At LifeWorks, employment isn’t an afterthought, it’s the foundation. Participants build real-world career skills through hands-on vocational training, workplace exploration, coaching, and accountability. From professional communication to job retention strategies, everything is designed to support meaningful, sustainable employment and long-term independence.

Health & Well-Being

Independence starts with caring for the whole person. LifeWorks supports physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing through routines, health education, fitness, nutrition, and self-management skills. Participants learn how to regulate stress, build healthy habits, and take ownership of their wellbeing—skills that support confidence, stability, and everyday success.

Community & Connection

No one thrives alone. LifeWorks intentionally creates opportunities for belonging through peer relationships, community engagement, volunteering, and social experiences. Participants practice communication, build friendships, and learn how to navigate their communities with confidence—developing a sense of purpose, connection, and place in the world.
