LifeWorks offers three pathways designed for autistic young adults who are ready to grow — whether they’re preparing for life after high school, or navigating college with extra support.

Find the Path That Fits Your Journey
Everyone is different — their strengths, needs, and goals are unique. That’s why LifeWorks offers two distinct programs:
The Transition Academy offers two pathways:
- Transition Academy: This program is a two-year full-time transition to independence program for autistic adults who want to live independently.
- On-The-Go: This program offers the same programming focus with a more flexible schedule
The Bridge Academy: A supportive program for students enrolled at KCTCS who want to strengthen life skills, executive functioning, and community connections while pursuing college coursework.

Choose your path to independence.
The Transition Academy
A Two-Year Independent Living Program for Autistic Young Adults Ready for Real-World Independence
The Transition Academy is designed for autistic young adults who are preparing for adulthood and want a safe, structured place to learn, practice, and build confidence as they take their next steps.

On-The-Go Academy
Helping autistic young adults build independence through structured support and real-world skills
LifeWorks On-The-Go (OTG) is a postsecondary support program for autistic young adults building independence through goals, accountability, and real-world skills—designed for those seeking greater autonomy in daily life, work, and responsibilities.
The Bridge Academy
Support for KCTCS Students With Autism Who Want to Grow in College and Beyond
The Bridge Academy serves autistic students enrolled at KCTCS who want individualized guidance in life skills, executive functioning, academic support, and community engagement — all while working toward their academic goals.

Real Stories. Real Growth.

Because when participants come first, confidence, connection, and independence follow.
